Velocity Made Good went to Sweden

Earlier this year, Velocity Made Good travelled to Sweden to perform at the Viva Sounds Festival. The journey there turned out to be almost as memorable as the show itself. Featuring an overslept alarm, a leaking car tire, and a last-minute airport sprint that somehow still ended with the band making their flight just in time.

After arriving in Gothenburg (with part of the equipment temporarily missing in action), the band had some time to explore the city before heading to Pustervik for the festival performance. Winter weather and strong winds made sightseeing slightly less romantic than expected, but the warm welcome from the festival team and audience quickly made up for it.

Playing a late-night slot to a full venue, the band delivered one of their most energetic shows in recent times. The performance proved to be a successful introduction to the Swedish live scene and an important step in expanding their international presence.

Viva Sounds also brought tangible results beyond the stage. During the festival, the band established new industry connections that have since led to a collaboration with a UK partner, with concrete plans now underway.
